Messaging and storytelling rooted in technical depth — built to move the market

Who's Behind ThinkRoot?
I’m Chad Corriveau — Navy veteran and technical marketing strategist.
Before building technical narratives for global platforms, I built
something else: a business in Japan. Succeeding as a Western
entrepreneur there required more than strategy it demanded
cultural fluency, sharp storytelling, and trust. That experience
shaped my next decade working in enterprise software, where
I’ve focused on explaining complex IT and AI capabilities in ways
people can actually use.
This site, ThinkRoot, is a personal portfolio. It collects a sample of
keynotes, demo narratives, and product stories I’ve helped shape
across IT, AI, and platform work. The goal is simple: show how I
approach simplifying complexity, aligning to real outcomes, and
making technical stories stick.
ThinkRoot is not a consulting business and does not offer commercial
services. It’s a personal archive of past work and perspectives only,
and is not affiliated with or endorsed by my employer.

How Can I Help?
ThinkRoot turns complexity into clarity — and helps you say what matters
Narrative Foundations
Make complex technology easier to understand.
This part of the portfolio focuses on how I break down deep technical concepts, whether they involve AI, automation, or broader platform work. The goal isn’t to hype anything. It’s simply to show how thoughtful framing can help people understand what a technology actually does and why it matters.
How ideas become clear and memorable.
This part of the portfolio focuses on the thinking behind technical storytelling. Over the years I’ve worked on product narratives, demo structures, and the kind of behind the scenes framing that helps people understand why something matters.
Clarity for high stakes work.
Some of the best lessons come from seeing how someone else untangles complexity. This part of the portfolio focuses on the thinking behind the work. How a story took shape. How a message was refined. How a technical idea became something people could understand.

Why ThinkRoot?
ThinkRoot is a personal space I built to explore the craft behind technical storytelling. It isn’t an agency or a service. It’s simply a place to collect the work, lessons, and narrative approaches that have shaped my career.
My path has taken me from building a business in Japan to working across
enterprise technology, where I’ve spent years turning complex ideas into
stories people actually understand. ThinkRoot reflects that journey. It
captures how I approach clarity, how I structure narratives, and how I
translate deep technical concepts into something real and memorable.
I created this site for people who care about the same things I do:
thoughtful communication, meaningful storytelling, and the ability to take
something complicated and make it land. If any part of this portfolio helps
you sharpen your own message or see your work in a new way, then it’s doing what I hoped it would.
ThinkRoot is the story beneath the surface.
It’s how I think, how I work, and how I try to make complexity feel simple.
